Ever on the search for quaint small towns, when we happened to be near Philly for a wedding we started looking for activities before the festivities began. I had found a sculpture garden but with super hot temperatures expected, I leaned towards being inside a museum and decided on the Michener Museum. Much to our delight, the surrounding town of Doylestown was a perfect spot to spend a few hours.
We started with lunch at Heirloom (there were so many good options I'm sad we didn't have more time for more meals!). Then it was on to the museum, which I wrote about here.
And a stroll around the vibrant main streets before continuing on our way.
Well worth a stop if you're driving into or out of Philadelphia from the north.
Great pictures and a very interesting and walkable town.
