Now that we're fully settled in our new apartment we have the great opportunity to explore the area! We're further from Boston now and in a place neither of us has lived, which is making the winter weekends quite fun for exploring, at least when it's not in the negatives...
The day we moved in, a winery popped up on Google maps as we made our way down the highway through New Hampshire — LaBelle Winery. I immediately looked it up and started thinking about how fun a wine tasting could be. With the holidays and an incredibly busy fall, I'd completely forgotten about it until the other day and looked into how we could do a tasting.
This year, the winery is showcasing their inaugural LaBelle Lights experience at the Derry, NH location.
And I am all for making the most of the cold, winter months. What could be better than walking through a light show followed by a glass of wine?
A look inside LaBelle Market, which features pastries, coffees and other items...like LaBelle wine!
The Derry location is a newer outfit for the Winery and from what I could tell things are centered around their 'Market', which is filled with pastries and goodies and a great selection of wine to choose from (perfect for warming up after seeing the lights). It was definitely a bit colder than I would recommend for going, but such a festive way to get out in the colder months and see something new. I can tell we'll be back once its warmer for a walk around the grounds and full tasting experience.
